Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode dokumenter berupaya mendeskripsikan, menguraikan dan menginterpretasikan permasalahan mengenai pengelolaan sampah dan faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi di TPA Bestari Kota Probolinggo. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data generasi sampah, komposisi sampah, serta infrastruktur pengelolaan sampah. Analisis tren timbulan sampah di Kota Probolinggo menunjukkan bahwa volume sampah Kota Probolinggo mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dari tahun ke tahun. Analisis tren timbulan sampah di Kota Probolinggo juga menunjukkan bahwa pasar Kota Probolinggo terdiri dari sampah organik (61%) dan sampah anorganik (39%). Dataset ini berisikan tentang klasifikasi jenis - jenis sampah yang masuk ke TPA Bestari beserta berat masing - masing klasifikasi jenis sampah tersebut. Sistem persampahan Kota Probolinggo bermuara pada Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) yang berada di TPA Bestari di kelurahan Mayangan, Probolinggo dan mempunyai luas ± 4 ha. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode dokumenter berupaya mendeskripsikan, menguraikan dan menginterpretasikan permasalahan mengenai pengelolaan sampah dan faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi di TPA Bestari Kota Probolinggo. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data generasi sampah, komposisi sampah, serta infrastruktur pengelolaan sampah. Analisis tren timbulan sampah di Kota Probolinggo menunjukkan bahwa volume sampah Kota Probolinggo mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dari tahun ke tahun. Analisis tren timbulan sampah di Kota Probolinggo juga menunjukkan bahwa pasar Kota Probolinggo terdiri dari sampah organik (61%) dan sampah anorganik (39%). Data ini berisikan tentang klasifikasi jenis - jenis sampah yang masuk ke TPA Bestari beserta berat masing - masing klasifikasi jenis sampah tersebut.
